So, on June 21st, 2008 my lovely fiance, Marie (justlikestars) and I got married in a handfasting ceremony.  It was amazing and beautiful.  My two sisters, my brother, and my dad all read the corner calls for the Guardians of the Watchtowers, which really surprised me and meant a lot.  My family doesn't completely understand pagan stuff, so it was really awesome that they were willing to participate.  Especially considering I asked my dad and my brother right before the ceremony started because our back-up corners didn't make it and the original ones got scheduled to work... But it was really nice having my family involved, I just wish more had been able to make it to the ceremony.  Marie's family was definately there in spirit, they sent text messages before and after the ceremony and have really been amazing.  It would have been awesome for them to be there in person, but plane tickets are just to expensive.
